![]() ![]() When i overwritten previous driver, the installer used to keep tray icon but immediately it disappears and never came back after reboot and no control panel link. checking connections (cleaning connections). Now I get sound threw the rear speakers but with static at 1/2 volume, no mute, and the 'Realtek HD Audio Manager' still. The good thing is the fresh installation kept the tray icon and also a link in control panel now. Note: the 'Realtek HD Audio Manager' shows the digital connection and front panel as available but has faded out the rear panel even though the rear panel are the only jacks in use. After reboot i went to device manager and uninstalled both AMD audio device and Realtek audio device and deleted devices. Windows 10 not listening to customer as always lol. But even then windows installed its realtek driver while shutting down (i could hear sound from speakers while shutting down like a pin is connected ). Uninstalled windows driver through DDU, chose windows not to install driver automatic and restarted. ![]() Restarted and again ran DDU because windows installed realtek driver from its archive automatic. ![]()
